Harvey Simpson Jr
Harvey Simpson Jr's career is grounded in healthcare operations—health information management, privacy compliance, and dependable delivery—with a leadership style shaped by coaching athletes across Southwest Florida: prepare thoroughly, follow through, and put people first.
Healthcare Operations & Leadership
Harvey brings 18 years in healthcare that began in 1999. As a department head at Broward County Human Services, he directed 16 employees across six service units and served as a HIPAA privacy and security liaison, overseeing records, staff development, and regulatory readiness. As facility administrator and HIM specialist at Sheridan Healthcare, he supported physician documentation, quality assurance, and operations across 127 acute-care facilities. His background also includes healthcare privacy and compliance consulting and medical-records research for the federal Drug Abuse Warning Network program.
